MOWBRAY STAFF


We thought it would be fun to show you a few faces so you know who's who at the Mowbray Zoo!

To the left is Blair with his horse Sam. Although Blair is the boss, Sam likes to feel he contibutes to running the farm and has offered to act as Blair's assistant in matters of equine importance....

Here is Jacqui with her horse Cherokee. (Don't worry, we do more around here than siesta with our horses.....!) You'll have to come out and see one of Jacqui's horsemanship demonstrations. Pretty cool stuff!

This is Elise. If you phone Mowbray Park you will likely speak to her. As you can see here she is ever ready to take your call...!!

Here we have Blair & Jacqui's son Mitchell. A very creative young man who when not running the property makes trains for the office out of his and Elise's boots.

This is Farmer Paul. He guards the entrance of Mowbray Park from the gatehouse. The most authentic Aussie farmer you'll meet....even though he's a Pom!

Here is our head cook Birgit. For full tummies she's the lady you need to see! When you visit ask about her speciality...corn on the cob!!

This is Jo. A busy lady, as cook one minute and waitress the next, you'll see alot of her at meal times! A handy needlewoman she has been adjusting our new curtains. Foodwise: she makes a mean chicken and corn vol au vent!

To the right we have Maree one of our waitresses (don't worry, she washes her hands at the beginning of her shift...!!). Keep an eye out when you're here and ask her how the cow milking training is coming along...

This is Gemma, Elise's sister, another of our waitresses (we take the knife away from her before she goes into the dining room...). A cheery person so long as she doesn't have to make Elise's tea....!!

Here's Farmer Rachel. Although mostly in the field doing farm activities, she sometimes runs our Kids Club sessions. Whatever you do, don't fly overhead in a helicopter while she is filling up the water troughs....!!!

Farmer Hannah is our other Blues twin. Like Rachel, she's mainly to be found farming but on the odd occasion will also supervise our Kids Club sessions. When Hannah's around have no fear, "everything's under control"!

Jodie is the third of our cooks at Mowbray Park. Being a versatile lady she also doubles as a waitress. She is our champion cheese cutter, being the only person so far to cut cheese as per Blair's precise measurements....she cooks great chips and makes delicious lasagne and quiche.

This is Jess, another waitress. If you see her walking in circles don't worry too much (she lives in a two story house that is perfectly round you see). A lovely girl with a great sense of humour, you'll definitely be seeing her around.
