FAQ

We would like to make sure you have as much information as possible about the wonderful experience you will have at Mowbray Park.

What should we bring with us? Comfortable casual clothing. Long pants and shoes or boots for horse riding, helmets are available. We do suggest that you bring your own tennis racquets and balls if required. For the pool bring a beach towel, sun hat and sunscreen. Students are required to bring along their own linen or sleeping bags, towel, pillow slip and a torch.
Do you have the facilities to deal with a conference group? We certainly do. Mowbray Park is the perfect location for your midweek conference. We have professional staff, our conference room is well set up with modern equipment. A low ropes course plus a whole host of farm type activities will add a different dimension to your conference. Can we inspect the accommodation? Inspection is welcome by appointment only.
Can we come for a day visit? Yes you can. Come and enjoy horse riding, lunch and all the farm activities at a very reasonable rate. Have a look at Day Visits on this site.
How can we pay? A deposit is due after making the initial booking and the balance is payable on arrival. We accept payment by credit cards, cheque or direct transfer.
How much deposit do we need to pay for our school camp? A deposit of 25% is required at time of booking.
What about cancellations? If a groups final numbers are less than the original number booked, our minimum requirement is payment of 85% of that originally booked. If cancellation is made less than 2 months from occupancy date a minimum amount of 85% of original booking is required . Should a substitution booking be secured then the minimum amount will be reduced by the value of the substitution. If, without prior approval your stay with us is less than you booked the full amount is payable.
Do you have a Risk Management Policy? Yes we have a complete Risk Management Schedule for all activities. Which is available via fax or email.
Do we choose our meals? Yes we have a menu selection sheet which is sent to you with your booking and we request be returned with your deposit. Please make sure any dietary requirements/food allergies are included when you return your menu selection.
What is your maximum Capacity? We can accommodate up to 80 students plus 4 teachers.
