ACTIVITIES


Let us take the hard work out of organising and running your next School Camp.

Activities are flexible, you may run your own or select a combination then let our experienced staff take care of your groups:

Fully supervised activity programs

(organised in groups of 15 to 20 and rotated)

Farm activities - Viewing & feeding farm animals, Hayrides, cow milking, animal nursery, feeding the cattle, Also educational talks on farming practices available.
Shearing & Sheep Dog Working Demonstration, wool industry discussion
Canoeing
Boomerang Throwing & Whip Cracking
Campfire with Billy Tea & Damper, pioneers re-enactment
Archery
Low Ropes Course
Natural Horsemanship Demonstration, animal husbandry
Horse Trail Riding $25 pp half hour (8 yrs and above only)
Pony rides $8.00 per student (under 8 yrs)
Environmental/educational walk around wetlands area
Land reclamation projects, plantings, soil work
Aussie Bushdance cost $6 per person min. 30

Other facilities available  (free time)
Archery, Day/Night Tennis, Swimming Pool, Volley ball, Bushwalking, Sports field (soccer and rugby)

We can also arrange off farm tours to local Dairies, Orchards and Vegetable farms.

Horse Riding - optional at $25.00 per student. Experienced riders or novices, it doesn't matter because Mowbray Park has a large number of horses and ponies suitable for people of all ages and riding abilities. Even if you've never ridden a horse before, Mowbray Park's Ride Leaders will help you to discover the delights of a leisurely trail ride.
Pony rides for the young ones are available at just $8.00 per student, a great way for a child to build confidence around horses as our staff lead the pony.

Off farm excursions

If you look at our 'Local Attractions' page you will see some great places to visit.	Off Farm excursions could be as a seperate day visit. You would need about an hour to see each of the local attractions.
